Tozan Ji-ari Shakuhachi 1.6 in E “Konō GYOKUSUI II” – restored by Chikudo

This is a beautiful collector piece from the great shakuhachi master Konō GYOKUSUI II made from a very thick and dense piece of Madake bamboo.
That was a huge work of restoration occupying me part of this springtime.

This ji-ari Shakuhachi is a very good player with bright and clear tone, powerful and well balanced; a master-piece !
