Ji-ari Shakuhachi 1.8 in D 2 Hanko – Restored by Chikudo
This very well crafted Ji-ari is well balanced, with good volume and nice tone colour somehow dark and mysterious from my fellings. I haven’t identified the 2 different Hanko (see pictures).
I repaired a big crack on the upper part with 7 traditional inlaid rattan bindings and the silver rings with an urushi technique called Negoro.
