Made from a thin and bright piece of madake bamboo, this ji-nashi has a sobre and elegant aesthetics.
With its precise embouchure, it gives clear and bright tone and a sweet and smooth playing.
The root end had a split (from harvesting) that I glued and preferred not to bind (see pictures);
this shakuhachi has a lifetime warranty as all Chikudo flutes.
