Here is a beautifully crafted shakuhachi from master Craftsman Gyokusui II the second generation of the renown maker’s family from Osaka.
Made from a thick and dense piece of old madake bamboo, this ji-ari has a rather narrow bore, a beautiful haunting voice and plays very well.
