After having sorted out my bamboo stock in 2020, I realised that some pieces were not suiting my actual requirements for making my shakuhachi; I have improved my making skills since I harvested them.
Regularly, people contact me in search of bamboo to experiment building their own shakuhachi so I decided to sell some poles rather than keeping them uselessly.
So here are two pack of French bamboo
These bamboos would of course not satisfy the requirements of a professional maker but would be very well suited for amateur makers. Mostly suited for ji-nashi, some of them can also be used for ji-ari (pack B)

If a bamboo has cracks, wounds or any other default, I sell it for a cheaper price and precise it on the list.
I cannot guarantee no cracks will appear in the future even if they are dried for several years.
It is always possible to build a shakuhachi from a cracked bamboo (I do sometimes !) with good bindings.Feel free to contact me for any inquiry.
