Chikudo Ji-ari shakuhachi 1.8 in D

This ji-ari shakuhachi made from a French bamboo is bright powerful. It is a good entry level ji-ari with a very versatile tone colour enabling a wide range of expression from dark to bright.
The tone-holes are pretty big, giving a big volume and easier meri notes.
The finishings are : silver brazed rings (those I made in Tokyo with Takahashi sensei) with cherry bark; the kinko inlay has silver around and the bore is lacquered with 6 layers of polished urushi with red finishing.
